Love it or hate it, the FBX interchange format is an important one in the world of game developer, so today we look at the process of using FBX in the Godot 4 game engine. In Godot 3, FBX support is built-in but lacklustre. In Godot 4 we need to use an external tool, fbx2gltf.
In the following video tutorial we show the process of configuring this tool in Godot and look at the changes to Godot FBX importing.
