Unity have just finished their keynote at the 2021 Game Developer Conference (GDC) Showcase, that runs until Friday, March 19th. While no major new releases or new technologies were announced at GDC 2021 Showcase, there were several interesting developments.
Dragon Crashers is a new 2D demo project showcasing 2D game development in Unity 2020 or higher. It is available for download immediately on the Unity Asset Store for free.
Boss Room is a new demo game showcasing the new networking stack to create a 4 player co-op multiplayer game. The project will be available on GitHub on April 7th.
Unity announced a heavy temporary discount on ArtEngine, their AI assisted art tool, in addition to the release of the new UpRes 2 feature. Details of the sale:
